Místo chůvy v rodině a její obraz v současné společnosti

Abstract

Tato práce má teoreticko - výzkumný charakter a klade si za cíl poskytnout čtenáři komplexní pohled na problematiku chův na území České republiky. Dovoluje si upozornit na složitosti, nejasnosti a neúplnosti v naší právní legislativě a pokouší se nabídnout řešení v podobě profesionalizace tohoto povolání. V první polovině teoretické části se věnuje neinstitucionální péči o děti ve dvou formách a to péči o děti poskytovanou chůvou ve vlastní domácnosti a v rodině dítěte. Popisuje vybrané formy těchto služeb v zemích Evropské unie (Německo, Rakousko, Francie, Velká Británie). Následně mapuje podmínky pro poskytování obdobných služeb na našem území a zabývá se fungováním agentur, které poskytují a zprostředkovávají službu hlídání dětí. Druhá polovina teoretické části se věnuje dílčím kapitolám, které popisují potřeby, motivy a důvody rodin, které vyhledávají a využívají služeb chůvy. Nabízí pohled na problematiku vztahů, rolí a pozic chův v rodinách, popisuje typologii problémových rodin, do kterých chůvy přicházejí pracovat a okrajově se zabývá komunikací mezi chůvou, rodiči a jejich dětmi. Praktická část je věnována pěti případovým studiím, které ilustrují skutečnou realitu toho, jak se chůvy do rodin dostávají, jaké vztahy v rodinách panují a z jakých důvodů z rodin odcházejí. This work is theoretical-and-research in its essence, with the purpose of providing the reader with a complex view of the au-pair or nanny issues in the Czech Republic. It would like to call attention to the issues not dealt with in a complex, clear and complete manner in the Czech legislation and makes an attempt to present a solution by professionalizing this occupation. The first half of the theoretical part deals with the noninstitutional care for children in two forms - with the care for children provided by a babysitter or nanny in her own home and by an au-pair in the family of the child. It describes selected forms of these services in the EU countries (Germany, Austria, France, Great Britain) and then covers the conditions of providing the same services on the territory of the Czech Republic and deals with the work of the agencies providing and arranging the services of the babysitters, nannies and au-pairs. The second half of the theoretical part of the work explores the individual areas describing the needs, motivations and reasons of the families searching for and using the services of an au-pair/nanny.
