Srovnání vztahu duše a těla v Platónově a Aristotelově filosofii

Abstract

Diplomová práce "Srovnání vztahu duše a těla v Platónově a Aristotelově filosofii" pojednává o problematice duše a těla u Platóna a Aristotela a především pak jejich srovnání. Cílem této práce je nejprve pojednat o pojetí duše a především jejího vztahu s tělem zvlášť u obou myslitelů. Dále pak zjistit, do jaké míry se obě tyto koncepce shodují, ale také odlišují. Také bych ráda ukázala, že tito dva největší myslitelé starověku na sebe navzájem působili, přejímali názory, ale nebáli se ani kritiky, především pokud se jedná o Aristotela.

Diploma thesis "Relating Body and Soul in Plato and Aristotle"deals with the problem of the relation of body and soul in Plato's and Aristotle's philosophy, and primarily with comparison of both concepts. The aim of this work is at first to discuss the concept of soul particularly in its connection with body separately in Plato and in Aristotle; secondly, to find out how did the concepts consist and also differ. Then the purpose is to show that both these greatest thinkers of antiquity influenced each other, took over their thoughts, but they did not fear to be critical either, that applies especially to Aristotle.
