Reflexe Šalamounovy vlády

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o kritickém náhledu na charakter Šalamounova panování. Časové vymezení zaujímá období od Šalamounova nástupu na trůn až po jeho smrt a následné rozdělení izraelského království. Práce čerpá z První knihy Královské a zabývá se kritikou Šalamounovou vlády, příčinami rozpadu říše, srovnáním První knihy Královské a Druhé knihy Paralipomenon, které jsou hlavními prameny o Šalamounovi, a porovnáním Šalamouna s jeho otce Davidem. Cílem práce je představit období Šalamounova kralování a zhodnotit přínos jeho vlády pro izraelský lid.

This thesis treats from a critical point of view the character of Solomon's reign. The time limitation takes in the period from Solomon's accession to the throne to his death and the subsequent separation of the Israeli kingdom. The thesis draws on The First Book of Kings and deals with a critique of Solomon's reign, the causes of the disintegration of the empire, a comparison of The First Book of Kings and The Second Book of Chronicles, which are the main sources for Solomon, and the confrontation between Solomon and his father David. The intention of the thesis is to introduce the period of Solomon's reign and to evaluate the contribution of his reign on Israeli people.
