Město Liberec v kulturologické perspektivě

Abstract

Tato práce vznikla z potřeby hlouběji pochopit změny, které se v současné době v Liberci odehrávají. Kromě nezbytného základu v podobě přiblížení historického vývoje města obsahuje reflexe několika moderních urbanistických teorií a úvah na téma současné architektury. Pomocí nich se potom pokouší vysvětlit překotný stavební rozvoj Liberce posledních let, pojmenovat jeho největší negativa a nebezpečí a nakonec také načrtnout v obrysech některá konkrétní řešení.

This thesis originated from the need of a deeper understanding of the recent changes that have been taking place in the city of Liberec. Aside from the necessary base in the form of the city's historical background it reflects some of the modern urbanistic theories and essays on contemporary architecture. By this means it then tries to explain the constructional boom of past years, point out its biggest negatives and dangers and eventually also to outline some particular solutions.
