Abstract

Tato práce se zaměřuje na problematiku identifikace respondenta jako člena gangu z hlediska procesu operacionalizace, respektive výběru správných indikátorů, přičemž je kladen důraz na kognitivní aspekty konstrukce výzkumných nástrojů. Obsahově je tato práce rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V první části věnujeme pozornost zejména základním teoriím sociálních deviací, jako jsou teorie kultur a subkultur, sociální kontroly či diferencované asociace a identifikace pocházející z éry Chicagské školy, o kterých se zmiňujeme především v souvislosti s problematikou vrstevnických skupin, a také oblasti kognitivních přístupů v metodologii výzkumných šetření, přesněji jedné ze čtyř fází procesu položení a zodpovězení otázky - interpretaci otázky. Dále se zmiňujeme o mezinárodním výzkumu ISRD-2 (International Self-Report Delinquency Study), technice sběru dat, problematice definice gangu a její operacionalizaci podle skupiny Eurogang. V průběhu analýzy dat se snažíme s touto definicí dále pracovat. Jsou řešeny dva základní momenty týkající se členství v gangu: otázka chápání slova "gang" širším spektrem respondentů v různých kulturních podmínkách a význam slova "nezákonné" či "nelegální", kdy páchání nezákonných či nelegálních aktivit je jedním z klíčových kritérií pro identifikaci respondenta jako člena...

This thesis focuses on problems with identification of respondent as a gang member from the standpoint of process of operationalisation, which give a selection of adequate indicators, whereas we emphasize the cognitive aspects of survey methodology. The thesis is separated into two parts: theoretical and empirical. In the first part we particularly pay attention to the basic theories of social deviations as theory of cultures and subcultures, social control or differential association and identification from Chicago school, which we mention in connection with problems of peers, and also to the area of cognitive aspect of survey methodology, precisely to one of four phases of process of asking and answering the question - interpretation of the question. Further, we mention international survey ISRD-2 (International Self-Report Delinquency Study), techniques of data collection, definition of the gang and its operationalisation according to Eurogang group During the data analysis we try to work with the operationalisation of the gang definition.
