Bulhaři v Čechách - kulturní parametry, imigrační proces a společenská integrace v současné době

Abstract

Doctoral thesis "Bulgarians in the Czech Republic - cultural parameters, immigration and social integration process in the present" is about an ethnic Bulgarian minority in the present. It questions their immigration, integration and social status in the Czech environment. The thesis discusses how to integrate the Bulgarians and their own position on it. Integration is seen as a unifying and ongoing process, secure cultural identity elements that are defined in this work as "integrative elements". In connection with this process, the dissertation looks identity of Bulgarians from two aspects - one of the cultural-historical discourse, and one of identity in terms of everyday experience. The research analyzes the experience of the identity of the Bulgarians in everyday life and culture that defines the parameters of their self- identification in the context of ongoing acculturation changes during a stay in a foreign environment for their adaptation. The research draws conclusions that the Bulgarians in the Czech Republic are integrating active and trying to build their own strategy for integration into Czech society. Disertační práce "Bulhaři v Čechách - kulturní parametry, imigrační proces a společenská integrace v současné době" pojednává o bulharské etnické menšině v současnosti. Klade si otázku její imigrace, integrace a společenského postavení v českém prostředí. Práce rozebírá způsob integrace Bulharů a jejich vlastní postoj k ní. Integrace je nahlížena jako setrvávající a sjednocující proces, zajištěný kulturními prvky identity, které jsou v této práci definovány jako "integrativní prvky". V souvislosti s tímto procesem disertační práce nahlíží identitu Bulharů ze dvou aspektů - jednou z kulturně-historického diskursu a jednou z hlediska prožívání identity v každodennosti. Výzkumná část analyzuje prožívání identity Bulharů v každodennosti a tímto vymezuje kulturní parametry jejich sebeidentifikace v souvislosti s probíhajícími akulturačními změnami během pobytu v cizím prostředí po dobu jejich adaptace. Výzkum dospívá k závěrům, že Bulhaři v ČR jsou integračně aktivní a snaží se vybudovat vlastní strategii při začleňování do české společnosti.
