Abstract

BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE Název bakalářské práce: Testy používané k hodnocení kognitivních funkcí u pacientů s demencí, jejich srovnání Tests Used For Evaluation Of Cognitive Functions In Patients With Dementia And Their Comparison Abstrakt bakalářské práce: Tato práce se zabývá problematikou kognitivních testů u pacientů s demencí. Ergoterapie je jeden z velmi důležitých nelékařských oborů, který kognitivní testy využívá při vyšetření pacientů. V současnosti populace stárne a je tedy pravděpodobné, že problematika demence bude čím dál aktuálnější. V práci představuji nový kognitivní test (Test Your Memory), který dosud nebyl v České republice používán. Tento test srovnávám se dvěma u nás již používanými kognitivní testy (Mini-Mental State Examination a Addenbrookský kognitivní test). Nový test je stručný, srozumitelný a má snadnou administraci. Od ostatních testů se liší tím, že jej pacienti mohou vyplňovat sami. V teoretické části práce se zabývám problematikou demencí, ergoterapií u těchto onemocnění a kognitivními testy. V praktické části je uveden postup práce a výsledky testů od všech účastníků výzkumu. OF THE BACHELOR THESIS Tests Used For Evaluation Of Cognitive Functions In Patients With Dementia And Their Comparison Abstract: The Bachelor Thesis targets the problems of the cognitive tests in the patients afflicted with dementia. Occupational Therapy is one of the major non-medical branches which utilizes the Cognitive Tests at the examination of the patients. The population is presently growing older, thus I dare say that dementia questions will become more and more actual. I am presenting a new Cognitive Test in the study (Test Your Memory) which has not been utilized in the Czech Republic so far. I am comparing the test with another two already utilized Cognitive Tests (Mini-Mental State Examination and Addenbrooke's Cognitive Examination). The new test is contracted, comprehensible, and can be easily administrated. It distinguishes from another tests by the fact that the patients can fill it up on their own. In the theoretical part of the Paper I am concerned with dementia, occupational therapy questions of the disease and Cognitive Tests. In the practical part there is introduced the procedure of the work and the tests outcome of all research participants.
