Je dnes dráž než před rokem 1989? Pokud ne, proč si to řada lidí myslí?

Abstract

Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se zaměřil na porovnání spotřebitelských cen před rokem 1989 a v roce 2009. Protože se v české společnosti objevují názory o nižších cenách před rokem 1989, rozhodl jsem se na základě dat z Českého statistického úřadu testovat hypotézu nižších cen před rokem 1989 v porovnání s rokem 2009. Metodologie práce zahrnovala sofistikované statistické testy (Studentův test), přepočet cen na upravenou průměrnou mzdu a sestrojení spotřebních košů. Na základě mnou provedených testů a přepočtů se ukázalo, že ceny před rokem 1989 byly v průměru 2x vyšší než v roce 2009.

In my thesis, I have focused on a comparison of consumer prices from 1989 and 2009. As in the Czech society are emerging ideas about lower prices before 1989, I decided to test the hypothesis of lower prices before the year 1989 compared to 2009 using data from the Czech Statistical Office. Methodology of this study includes sophisticated statistical tests (Student Two-sample tests), conversion of prices to the adjusted average wage and the construction of consumption baskets from 1989 and 2009. Based on my tests and performed recalculations I have found out that the prices before 1989 were on average 2 times higher than in 2009.
