Využití psa ve zdravotně - sociální oblasti

Abstract

Magisterská práce pojednává o využití psa ve zdravotně-sociální oblasti. Zaměřuji se hlavně na zooterapii vodicích a asistenčních psů pro lidi s postižením. Specializuji se na otázku výcviku vodicích a asistenčních psů, etologii psů, odlišnosti, pohodu psů, a samotným procesem získání takového psa. Představila jsem historii výcviku těchto psů a samotný proces výcviku a jeho klady a zápory. Představuji zde i problematiku zrakového postižení, sluchového postižení a celkově problematiku lidí s určitým druhem handicapu. Závěr práce představuje blíže životní pohodu zvířat a jejich potřeby, které by mohly být určitou mírou poškozeny právě zátěží náročného výcviku a nevhodnou manipulací a péčí.

Graduate thesis ,,Utilization of dog in health-social field" discuss animal therapy, such as zoo therapy, guide dogs, service dogs for people with handicaps. I specialize mostly on questions of guide and service dogs training, ethology, difference, dog welfare and guide and service dog acquisition process. I have presented the history of guide and service dog training, the process of the training itself as well as its positive and negative aspects. I have also presented the issue of visual or hearing hearing impairment, as well as the issue of handicapped people in general. Finally I present issue of animal comfort and needs, which could be to some extent damaged by the burden of heavy training and by improper handling and care.
