Fotoesej a fotoreportáž v internetových verziách svetových denníkov či týždenníkov

Abstract

Koniec 21. storočia sa niesol v znamení veľkých technologických zmien. Tieto zmeny zasiahli aj oblasť fotografie a to najmä príchodom digitálnej fotografie a internetu. V tomto období sa zároveň printové média začínajú ocitať na pomedzí krízy a web sa veľmi rýchlo stáva novým populárnym zdrojom mediálneho obsahu. Oblasť fotožurnalistiky je jednou z prvých, ktorá na tieto zmeny reaguje vytvorením multimediálnych sekcií v rámci on-line denníkov a týždenníkov. Bakalárska práca "Fotoesej a fotoreportáž v internetových verziách svetových denníkov či týždenníkov" sa venuje práve prechodu fotografie zo stránok novín na stránky webu. Celá práca je potom rozdelená do teoretickej a analytickej časti. Prvá kapitola práce je zameraná na samotné zmeny, ktoré tento prechod priniesol- od vytvorenia občianskej žurnalistiky až po otázku autorských práv. Ďalej sú v práci zadefinované pojmy fotoesej a fotoreportáž, ktoré sú dôležitou súčasťou druhej polovice textu. Analytická časť, ktorej základom je obsahová analýza, následne skúma štyri vybrané fotoeseje a fotoreportáže amerického týždenníka Time. Postupnou komparáciou internetovej a printovej verzie časopisu Time nakoniec práca poskytuje praktické závery, ktoré vyplývajú z prechodu fotografie a fotožurnalistiky na internet.

The end of the 21st century was marked by major technological changes. These changes, especially the invention of digital photography and the Internet, also affected the area of photography. During this period, while print media are in a crisis, the web is rapidly becoming the new source of media content. The area of photojournalism is one of the first to respond to these changes by creating multimedia sections in online versions of newpaper and news magazines. The thesis "A photo-essay and a reportage photography on the Internet versions of the world-known newspapers and news magazines" is about the transfer of photography from the pages of newspapers to web sites. The whole thesis is then divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first chapter is focused on the very changes brought by this transition - since the creation of the citizen journalism to the issue of the copyright. Then, there are defined the terms " a photo-essay" and " a reportage photography" that are important for the second half ot the text. The analytical part, which is based on the content analysis, examines four photo-essays selected from the American news magazine Time.
