Sakrální architektura v Praze v době Rudolfa II. se zaměřením na centrální stavby

Abstract

Bakalářská práce "Sakrální architektura v Praze v době Rudolfa II. se zaměřením na centrální stavby" je věnována sakrální architektuře v Praze se zaměřením na centrální stavby, které vznikly v období vlády Rudolfa II., tedy mezi lety 1576 a 1611. Do vybrané kategorie spadají tři menší stavby: kostel svatého Rocha na Strahově, Vlašská kaple v Klementinu a dnes již zaniklá kaple svatého Vojtěcha na Pražském hradě. Obsahem bakalářské práce je shrnutí a kritické zhodnocení literatury k danému tématu. Pozornost je věnována také (s největší pravděpodobností) italským architektům vybraných staveb. Neméně důležitými osobami jsou stavebníci - zde sám císař Rudolf II., pražský arcibiskup Antonín Brus z Mohelnice, strahovský opat Jan Lohelius a další. V závěru práce je přiložen obrazový katalog vybraných staveb.

The Bachelor thesis "Religious architecture in Prague in the period of Rudolph II with the focus on central buildings" is devoted to the religious architecture in Prague, especially central buildings which were built during the reign of Rudolph II, between years 1576 and 1611. There are three small buildings in this category: the church of St. Roch at Strahov, Vlaššská kaple (Italian chapel) in Clementinum and now destroyed chapel of St. Adalbert at the Prague Castle. The contents of the bachelor thesis is the summary and critical evaluation of this topic's literature. The attention is focused on the (most probably) Italian architects of the chosen buildings. Of the same importance are the initiators of the construction - here the emperor Rudolph II himself, Prague archbishop Antonín Brus of Mohelnice, Strahov Monastery abbot Jan Lohelius and many others. In the conclusion of this thesis there is attached a catalogue of the selected buildings.
