Informovanost o poruchách příjmu potravy. Srovnání znalostí mezi studenty zdravotnických oborů a veřejností.

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem poruch příjmu potravy se zaměřením na mentální anorexii a mentální bulimii. Hlavním cílem bylo srovnat znalosti studentů zdravotnických oborů a veřejnosti. Teoretická část práce obsahuje základní informace o poruchách příjmu potravy, definuje nejen dva nejznámější typy, kterými jsou mentální anorexie a mentální bulimie, ale také typy méně známé, kupříkladu záchvatovité přejídání, orthorexii či bigorexii. Je zde nastíněna historie mentální anorexie a mentální bulimie, diagnostická kritéria pro hlavní poruchy, dále rizikové faktory podporující vznik onemocnění. Je zde popsán typický průběh, prognóza a charakteristické projevy onemocnění, komplikace a komorbidity, které je mohou doprovázet a možnosti jejich léčby. Praktická část prezentuje výsledky, které vyplynuly z mého průzkumu. Ten byl uskutečněn na základě anonymních dotazníků pro dvě skupiny. Jednalo se o studenty 1. LF UK, konkrétně studenty zdravotnických oborů všeobecná sestra a nutriční terapie. Druhou skupinu tvořila veřejnost. Celkové výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že veřejnost prokázala dobré znalosti základních otázek o poruchách příjmu potravy, v otázkách specifických odpovídali lépe zdravotníci. This Bc thesis deals with the food uptake disorders with emphasis on anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. The main purpose was to compare knowledge of students of medical disciplines and of general public. The theoretical part of the thesis contains basic information about the eating disorders. The main text defines the two best known types of the eating disoreders, namely anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, and also the less well known types such as binge eating disorder, bigorexia and orthorexia. Descibed are history of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, the diagnostic criteria for the disorders, and the risk factors inducing the disease. Described are also typical manifestation and prognosis of the disease, concomitent complications and co-morbidities, and also the possibilities of treatment. The part presenting the results of the survey is based on anonymous questionnaires for two groups. The first group consisted of the students of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, specifically the students of the general nurse health care and nutritional therapy.
