Péče o dutinu ústní u hospitalizovaných dětí

Abstract

Ve své bakalářské práci se budu zabývat úrovní poskytované péče a srovnáním péče o dutinu ústní u hospitalizovaných dětí prováděné na standartním pediatrickém pracovišti a na transplantační jednotce kostní dřeně u dětí. Práce popisuje anatomicko-fyziologické podklady pro péči o dutinu ústní, nejčastější patologické záležitosti, zdůrazňuje důležitost náležité péče o ústa. Popisuje jak by měla hygiena dutiny ústní probíhat. A popisuje řešení možných vzniklých problémů týkající se dutiny ústní. V empirické části jsem zpracovala výsledky kvantitativní metody rozhovoru. Výzkumným šetřením jsem zjistila úroveň poskytované péče o dutinu ústní, zjistila, jakým způsobem hospitalizace a léčba ovlivňuje provádění hygieny dutiny ústní a srovnala jsem prováděnou péči o ústa na uvedených pracovištích. Dále jsem zjistila úroveň informovanosti rodičů hospitalizovaných dětí. Klíčová slova: Dutina ústní Hygiena Děti Hospitalizace Edukace Onkologický dětský pacient

This bachelor's thesis deals with the care of oral cavity for hospitalized children and compares the standards of oral cavity care for children hospitalized in standard pediatric wards with those for children hospitalized in the pediatric bone marrow transplant unit. The thesis provides the anatomical and physiological beckground information on oral care, describes the most common pathological issues, stresses the importance of proper mouth care and explains how to practise oral hygiene and solve potential oral cavity problems. The empirical part of the thesis analyses the results of quantitative interview methods. By doing survey research I found out what the standard care of oral cavity was like and how hospitalization and treatment affected oral hygiene practices. At the same time I compared the mouth care practised in both of the above mentioned wards and determined the level of awareness among hospitalized children`s parents.
