Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o osobě císaře Karla I. Rakouského se zaměřením na jeho beatifikační proces a místa spojená s jeho úctou. První část je zaměřena na císařův životopis. Stručně je zmíněna doba Karlova dospívání, studia a první zkušenosti v armádě. Největší prostor je věnován době Karlovy vlády a období po odchodu do exilu. Zdůrazněny jsou mírové snahy v době 1. světové války, sociální reformy v monarchii a v období exilu restaurační pokusy v Maďarsku. Druhá část je zaměřena na samotnou beatifikaci a kult císaře Karla. Nejprve krátce o zbožnosti císaře Karla. Dále průběh a aspekty blahoslavení, kde je nejdůležitější průběh procesu a snahy Modlitební ligy císaře Karla za mír mezi národy. Poté krátce o diskuzi, která vyvstala po oznámení o blahoslavení. Závěr je věnován popisu kaplí a relikviářů zasvěcených císaři Karlovi. The beatification process of Emperor Charles I. This bachelor theisis treats about the person of the Emperor Charler I. of Austria with focus on his beatification process and places associated with his reverence. The first part is focused on the emperor's biography. In brief is mentioned period Charles adolescence, studies and first experiences in the military. The largest space is devoted to period Charles' reign and the period after leave for exile. There are highlighted peace efforts during the first World War, social reforms in the monarchy and in the period of exile restaurant attempts in Hungary. Second part is focused on the beatification and the cult of the Emperor Charles.
