Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá osobností a dílem českého malíře Josefa Weniga, který se do uměleckého povědomí zapsal především jako divadelní výtvarník a ilustrátor. Těžištěm práce je soubor Wenigových kresebných návrhů a grafických realizací uložený ve sbírkách Uměleckoprůmyslového musea v Praze. Mimo své stěžejní obory se Josef Wenig jako všestranný umělec věnoval další tvorbě, jako například reklamní grafice, návrhům pohlednic nebo Ex libris. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

This bachelors thesis deals with the life and work of a Czech painter Josef Wenig, who made his artistic awarness primaraly as a theater artist and illustrator. The focus of this thesis is a set of Wenig's drawing designs and graphic realization held in the collections of Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
