Umělecká díla vzniklá k příležitosti blahořečení Čtrnácti pražských mučedníků

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vzniku a popisem všech uměleckých předmětů vytvořených k příležitosti blahořečení Bedřicha Bachsteina a jeho třinácti druhů. V historické části připomíná tragickou událost smrti Čtrnácti pražských mučedníků z kláštera Panny Marie Sněžné. Představuje vývoj úcty a snahy směřující k slavnému blahořečení dne 13. října 2012. Práce si dále všímá vybraných příkladů zobrazení mu- čedníků a jejich ikonografií. Soustředí se především na dokumentování výtvarné soutě- že na beatifikační obraz. Krátce představuje všechny zúčastněné umělce, především pak autora vítězného návrhu známého malíře Tomáše Císařovského. Dále představuje autory uměleckých předmětů vytvořených k blahořečení. Jsou to: nový dřevěný relikviář, pamětní medaile a grafický pamětní list. Záměrem práce je kromě dokumentačního přínosu tak výjimečné události jakou bezpochyby je historicky první beatifikace konaná v Praze, také poukázání na stále důležitý problém dialogu církve a současného umění.

Artworks Created on the Occasion of the Beatification of the Fourteen Prague Martyrs This bachelor's thesis deals with creation and description of all works of art created for the occasion of the beatification of Frederic Bachstein and his thirteen companions. First, in the historic part recalls the tragic event of death Fourteen Prague Martyrs Mo- nastery of Our Lady of the Snows. It represents the development of respect and efforts towards the famous beatification of 13 October 2012. The thesis also notes selected examples views of martyrs and their iconography. It focuses primarily on documenting art competition for beatification image. Shortly represents all participating artists espe- cially the author of the winning design of the famous painter Thomas Císařovský. It also presents the authors of works of art created for the beatification. They are: new wooden reliquary, commemorative medals and commemorative graphic sheet. The work is fo- cused in addition to documenting contributions and exceptional events which undoub- tedly is the first beatification held in Prague, also pointing out the still important pro- blematic dialogue of the Church and contemporary art.
