| dc.description.abstract | The topic of this master's degree thesis - "Ideology of the Normalization, or the Normalization of Ideology: Narrative and Ideological Analysis of Films about Everyday Life during the 'Normalization'" - is an inquiry into the ideology of the so-called normalization period (1968-1989) as it is represented in mainstream Czech post-communist films. The research question is posed as follows: Do these films reflect on the ideology of the Normalization era itself, or are they normalizing a new post-communist ideology about the Normalization?
