Vztah novináře a zdroje s důrazem na používání off the record materiálů se zaměřením na kauzu Lenka Bradáčová vs. Xaver Veselý

Abstract

(abstrakt) Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku novinářské etiky. Důraz je přitom kladen na tři konkrétní etické oblasti - ochranu zdroje informací, používání nepoctivých prostředků při získávání informací a následné používání takto získaných materiálů. Teoretická část nejprve vymezuje základní pojmy důležité pro hlubší pochopení problematiky. Definuje také termín "off-the-record" a myšlenku veřejného zájmu. To vše s přihlédnutím k etickým normám českým i zahraničním. Výzkumná část pak popisuje kauzu pražské vrchní státní zástupkyně Lenky Bradáčové a novináře Luboše Xavera Veselého z března roku 2013. Představuje ji pohledem obou stran a ty poté vzájemně konfrontuje. Na základě teoretických znalostí se pak snaží vysvětlit, proč je tato kauza tolik problematická. Závěrem je vyhodnocení kauzy, které přináší rozhodnutí, zda došlo v tomto případě k porušení etických norem.

This bachelor thesis is focusing on issues of journalistic ethics. The emphasis is placed on three specific ethical issues - protection of sources of information , using unfair methods to obtain informations and the use of materials gathered this way. First, the theoretical part defines the basic concepts which are important for a deeper understanding of the issue . It also defines the term "off - the- record" and the idea of public interest. This all is based on ethical standards in Czech republic and abroad. The second part of the thesis describes Lenka Bradacova's case. There was a conflict between Chief State Prosecutor Lenka Bradáčová and a journalist Lubos Xaver Vesely last year. The thesis represents the view of both sides on this case and then confronts both versions. The thesis also tries to explain why this case is so problematic. Finally it brings a decision if there was a violation of ethical codes in this case or not.
