Abstract

Diplomová práce Média a politika - Politické strany ve vybraném českém denním tisku v období před volbami do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky v roce 2013 zkoumá prostřednictví kvantitativní obsahové analýzy, jak český seriózní tisk informoval o vybraných českých politických stranách v období před parlamentními volbami v roce 2013. Teoretická část práce se věnuje primárně teorii mediálně politického paralelismu. Okrajově se práce věnuje také teorii objektivity a vyváženosti médií, a teorii rámování, které s politickým paralelismem úzce souvisí. V praktické části práce zkoumá, jaký prostor média věnují jednotlivým politickým stranám, vyváženost přímého přístupu čelních představitelů těchto politických stran do zkoumaných médií a zda informování o zkoumaných politických stranách bylo ze strany médií objektivní a vyvážené. Za svůj cíl si práce klade zjistit, zda český seriózní tisk vykazuje některé z vytyčených rysů politického paralelismu.

The diploma thesis Media and Politics - Political Parties in Selected Czech Newspapers in the Period Before the Elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Czech Republic in 2013 via quantitative content analysis examines how the serious Czech dailies informed about selected political parties before the parliamentary elections in 2013. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the theory of political parallelism. Marginally are also mentioned the other theories which are closely related to the theory of political parallelism. It is a theory of objectivity and balance of media and the media framing theory. The thesis is also focused on political communication in the sense of the access of the political actors in the news content. The thesis examined how is the media space devoted to different political parties, the balance of the direct access of the leaders of these political parties to the media, and whether the informations about examined political parties are objective or not. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the Czech serious dailies show some of the main features of political parallelism.
