Die Entwicklung der Wirtschaftsbeziehungen Deutschlands mit den Visegrád-Ländern vor und nach der EU-Osterweiterung

Abstract

V důsledku východního rozšíření Evropské unie se v roce 2004 připojily ke společenství evropských zemí mimo jiné i státy Visegrádské čtyřky - Polsko, Česko, Slovensko a Maďarsko. Tato významná událost zásadně ovlivnila rozvoj a průběh transformace těchto zemí. Cílem předložené práce je zjistit, jaký vliv mělo východní rozšíření EU na ekonomické vztahy Německa se státy Visegrádské čtyřky. Analýza ekonomických vztahů se přitom soustředí na dvě klíčové dimenze: na spoluprácí ve vzájemném obchodu a rovněž na přímé investice z Německa. Práce je členěna do třech oddílů: dvou teoretických a jednoho praktického. První část práce se věnuje integračním krokům středovýchodoevropských států v 90. letech a jejich vlivu na dynamický rozvoj ekonomické spolupráce s Německem. V tomto oddílu bude také tematizována role Německa při formování podmínek východního rozšíření a stejně tak zmíněny zájmy německé podnikové scény na ekonomickou činnost ve zkoumaném regionu. V druhém oddílu budou upřesněny pojmy mezinárodního obchodu a přímých zahraničních investic. Tato část má za cíl stanovit komparativní kritéria, která napomůžou při zodpovězení výzkumné otázky a hypotézy ohledně přínosu a vlivu členství čtyř visegrádských států v EU na jejich ekonomické vztahy s Německem. During the eastern enlargement of the EU four emerging countries of the Visegrád Group - Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary - joined the community of European states. This significant event notably affected not only the transformation process in the countries mentioned above but also their relations with the EU member states. The aim of this master thesis is to research the impact of the eastern enlargement of the EU on economic relations between C.E. countries and Germany, and to answer the question whether the EU accession was the main decisive factor for the dynamic development of economic cooperation between the above mentioned states. The analysis of economic relations focuses on two key dimensions: trade relations and direct investment. The government's policy of supporting the investment activities both in Germany and C.E. countries is also taken into account. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first chapter intends to analyze the integration process of the C.E. countries in the '90s and its influence on the dynamic development of the economic cooperation between Germany and Visegrád Group.
