Edukační materiál pro děti s diagnózou asthma bronchiale

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with asthma bronchiale. Bronchial asthma is a syndrome of differently expressed and overlapping clinical manifestations that arise from the systemic inflammatory activity of the organism that leads to chronic airway changes. The basis of bronchial asthma therapy is the use of preventive anti-inflammatory drugs, which are supplemented with relief medications. There are several inhalation systems that have different demands on adequate inhalation technique. Practice and control of this inhalation technique is a key part of education of the child patient. Effective education is provided by the created educational material which is part of the bachelor thesis and which demonstrates the correct inhalation technique ensuring the optimal application of the drug. The publication should help children to actively engage in the therapy and raise awareness of all aspects that help to manage the disease and eliminate the risk factors that aggravate the illness. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou onemocnění asthma bronchiale. Průduškové astma (asthma) je syndromem různě vyjádřených a vzájemně se překrývajících klinických projevů, vzniklých na podkladě systémové zánětlivé aktivity organismu, která vede k chronickým změnám v dýchacích cestách. Základem terapie bronchiálního astmatu je užívání preventivních protizánětlivých léků, které jsou doplněny léky úlevovými. K dispozici je několik inhalačních systémů a každý má rozdílné nároky na adekvátní inhalační techniku. Nácvik a následná kontrola této inhalační techniky je klíčovou součástí edukace dětského pacienta. K efektivní edukaci slouží vytvořený edukační materiál, jenž je součástí bakalářské práce a demonstruje správnou inhalační techniku zajišťující optimální aplikaci léčiva. Publikace by měla sloužit dětem k aktivnímu zapojení do terapie a podnícení pozornosti ke všem aspektům, které napomáhají ke zvládání nemoci a eliminují rizikové faktory, jež nemoc zhoršují.
