This survey summarizes the results of geographic analysis of the border region of Vimperk. It is one of 16 microegiona1 surveys aimed at providing a detailed overview of the border regions for comparison purposes. All surveys have the same structure: basic information, history, population and settlement, economy, transport, regiona1 and local development, cross-border activities and future development. In this survey, various methods of geographic analysis were utilized. These methods are implemented in geographic information systems
