Raně středověké osídlení Chebska

Abstract

Předložená práce zabývající se problematikou raně středověkého osídlení Chebska nepředstavuje první zpracování daného tématu; studie R. Turka, E. Šimka a částečně i A. Hejny z 50. a 60. let jsou však zatíženy dobovým nacionalismem, stejně jako starší publikace německé (k dějinám bádání viz 2. kapitolu). Autor proto přistupuje k tématu bez apriorních etnických schémat.

The presented work devoted to the problematic of early Middle Ages' settlement of Cheb region does not represent the first work on the given subject. The nationalistic context of the time left its mark on studies by R. Turek, E. Šimek, and partly even A. Hejna from the 50th and 60th of the last century as well as on older German publications (to the history of research see capture 2). It is the reason of author's acceptation of the given topic without preconceived ethnically schemes.
