Talent management v sekundárním školství České republiky

Abstract

This thesis deals with the topic of talent management in relation to teaching staff in second- ary education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe its current state and to find out how talented teachers are cared for in Czech secondary schools and how princi- pals perceive talented teachers and talent management. The thesis defines and puts into context the concepts of teaching staff, teacher stand- ard, talented teacher, talent and giftedness as well as talent management. A newly developed definition of a talented educator is also included. The specifics description of the Czech schools' environment for the talent management implementation in terms of individual pro- cesses is followed by a questionnaire survey. The research results are linked to the context of Czech education and compared with the results of previous investigations of talent man- agement in Czech organisations. The care of Czech teachers is very specific from the talent management perspective. The teaching profession is demanding and Czechia lacks a functional career system and a generally accepted teacher standard. Diplomová práce se zaobírá tématem talent managementu ve vztahu k pedagogickým pracovníkům v sekundárním školství České republiky. Cílem práce je popsat jeho aktuální stav a zjistit, jak je o talentované pedagogy na českých středních školách pečováno a jak ředitelé talentované pedagogy i talent management vnímají. Práce vymezuje a dává do souvislostí pojmy pedagogický pracovník, učitelský stan- dard, talentovaný pedagog, talent a nadání a talent management. Součástí je i nově vzniklá definice talentovaného pedagoga. Na popis specifik prostředí českých škol pro realizaci ta- lent managementu z pohledu jednotlivých procesů navazuje dotazníkové šetření. Výsledky výzkumu jsou propojeny s kontextem českého školství a porovnány s výsledky předešlých šetření talent managementu v českých organizacích. Péče o české pedagogy je z pohledu talent managementu značně specifická. Pedago- gická profese je náročná a v ČR chybí funkční kariérní systém i obecně uznávaný učitelský standard. Učitelů je v mnoha oborech nedostatek, vzdělávání pedagogů je zákonem povinné, specifické jsou i způsoby financování. Vše výšené zmíněné se do současného stavu talent managementu na českých středních školách výrazně promítá.
