Preseniorská edukace

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify the differences in pre-senior education (self- education, financial security, maintenance of social relationships, social activities etc.) among the representatives of generations X, Y and Z. The attention of the thesis is focused on old age and aging including different types of aging and biological, psychological, and social manifestations of the old age. Demographic situation in the Czech Republic and impacts of the population aging on society is included in the topic of old age and aging. The thesis focuses on pre-senior education, i.e. preparation and adaptation on aging and old age and pro-senior education within which the intergenerational learning is examined. For better understanding of the whole problematics the characteristics of the generations X, Y and Z are described. Quantitative research was conducted in the form of questionnaire, which was distributed to the representatives of generations X, Y and Z. The aim of the quantitative empirical research is o identify whether and how the representatives of the three generations are preparing themselves for aging and old age and what the differences between them are. Cílem diplomové práce je identifikovat rozdíly v rámci preseniorské edukace (z hlediska sebevzdělávání, hmotného zabezpečení, udržování sociálních vztahů, společenských aktivit apod.) u zástupců generací X, Y a Z. Pozornost je soustředěna na stáří a stárnutí (ať už na možné typy stárnutí či na biologické, psychické a sociální projevy stáří). V rámci tématu stáří a stárnutí je zmíněna i demografická situace v České republice a dopady stárnutí populace na společnost. Práce se dále soustřeďuje na preseniorskou edukaci, tj. na přípravu a adaptaci na stáří a stárnutí, a na edukaci proseniorskou, v rámci které se pozornost koncentruje i na mezigenerační učení, mezigenerační vztahy, mezigenerační programy a jsou také zmíněny negativní stereotypy o seniorech či společenské uznání stáří. Pro lepší pochopení celé problematiky jsou v práci uvedeny i charakteristiky jednotlivých generací X, Y a Z i z pohledu přípravy na stáří a stárnutí. Kvantitativní šetření bylo uskutečněno prostřednictvím dotazníku, jenž byl distribuován zástupcům jednotlivých generací. Cílem empirického šetření je zjistit, zda a jak se jednotliví reprezentanti generací X, Y a Z na stáří a stárnutí připravují a zda se mezi sebou liší.
