Domovy pro seniory v době pandemie covid-19

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of homes for the elderly during the covid-19 pandemic. Specifically, it deals with the period of time from year 2020 untill the first quarter of the year 2022, where in said period the homes for the elderly were forced to adapt to the new situation of the covid-19 pandemic. The thesis aims to map the situation of the homes for the elderly in the covid-19 pandemic, with focus on Czech lands, and then create a strategy for dealing with pandemic inside the homes for the elderly. To achieve this, the author collected information regarding measures existing inside the homes, also focusing on their relevancy and efficiency, then the said information was utilised to evaluate existing measures. From the collection of information author creates a strategy, which could be used to combat future pandemics of either similar or same types and this strategy would then help homes for the elderly to overcome said situations better. To gather all the information needed, author used multiple sources of literature, foreign sources, legislatives, annual reports, and interviews carried out inside the home for the elderly Sue Ryder. Diplomová práce se zabývá domovy pro seniory v době pandemie covid-19. Konkrétně se jedná o období od 2020 až po první čtvrtletí roku 2022, kdy se domovy pro seniory v tomto období musely přizpůsobit nové situaci spojené s pandemií covid-19. Tato diplomová práce má za cíl zachytit situaci domovů pro seniory v době covid-19 pandemie, s důrazem na české území a následně vytvořit návod pro překonání pandemie v rámci domovů pro seniory. K dosažení tohoto cíle nejprve došlo k shromáždění informací ohledně opatření platných uvnitř domovů, jaká je jejich relevance a účinnost a tyto informace jsou dále využity ke zhodnocení opatření. Ze shromážděných informací pak autor vytvořil strategii, která by mohla být využita pro boj s budoucími pandemiemi podobného nebo stejného typu, přičemž tato strategie by pak umožnila domovům pro seniory překonat pandemie lépe. Ke shromáždění potřebných informací byla využita literatura, zahraniční zdroje, vyhlášky, legislativa, výroční zprávy a rozhovory v rámci domova pro seniory Sue Ryder. Práce mimo již zmíněný návod také mapuje jednotlivá vládní nařízení relevantní pro domovy pro seniory v období pandemie, a také vývoj situace uvnitř domovů pro seniory, což umožňuje pochopit situaci uvnitř domovů v období pandemie covid-19.
