Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the literary reports of Petra Procházková The execution is a public matter and Adžamal. Its goal is to analyze both texts and find in them the signs of literary reportage. The work also attempts to outline the reasons that lead to the fact that literary reportage is almost non-existent in the Czech Republic. The first chapter focuses on the characteristics of the reporting genre, its origin and development. It also deals with fiction and objectivity in reportage texts. The second chapter briefly describes the current state of written reportage in Czech print and online media. The third chapter is dedicated to literary reportage, attempts to define it, outlines the phenomenon of the Polish school of reportage and also touches on the current state of literary-journalistic texts in the Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis begins with a chapter on the life of reporter and humanitarian worker Petra Procházková. The fifth chapter focuses on the description of the context of the creation of her literary reports, specifically on the situation in Chechnya (where The execution is a public matter takes place) and Afghanistan (the scene of Adžamal) at the beginning of the 21st century. Bakalářská práce se zabývá literárními reportážemi Petry Procházkové Poprava - věc veřejná a Adžamal. Jejím cílem je oba texty analyzovat a nalézt v nich znaky literární reportáže. Práce se také pokouší nastínit důvody, které vedou k tomu, že se v České republice literární reportáž téměř nevyskytuje. První kapitola se zaměřuje na charakteristiku žánru reportáže, jeho vznik a vývoj. Zabývá se také fikcí a objektivitou v reportážních textech. Druhá kapitola stručně popisuje současnost psané reportáže v českých tištěných a online médiích. Třetí kapitola se věnuje literární reportáži, pokouší se ji definovat, nastiňuje fenomén polské školy reportáže a dotýká se i současného stavu literárně-publicistických textů v České republice. Druhá část práce začíná kapitolou o životě reportérky a humanitární pracovnice Petry Procházkové. Pátá kapitola se soustředí na popis kontextu vzniku jejích literárních reportáží, konkrétně na situaci v Čečensku (kde se odehrává Poprava - věc veřejná) a Afghánistánu (dějišti Adžamala) na počátku 21. století. Poslední kapitola literární reportáže analyzuje, využívá teoretické poznatky a je doplněna citacemi z obou textů. Součástí práce je také rozhovor s Petrou Procházkovou.
