Maladaptivní užívání hudby z hlediska žánru u lidí s vysokou depresivitou

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of maladaptive use of music. This phenomenon is discussed in the broader context of emotion regulation, depression, musical emotions and musical preferences. The aim of the theoretical part is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge on maladaptive music use and to explain the constructs and the most important theories that emerge in the empirical part. The aim of the empirical part is to test what associations exist between adaptive and maladaptive music use patterns and depression levels in the Czech student population. According to our results, maladaptive use of music has a significant positive relationship with the level of depression, while adaptive use has no significant relationship with the level of depression. Furthermore, it is examined how the degree of depression through maladaptive music use affects the perception of musical emotions. In our sample, neither the degree of depression nor maladaptive music use predicts the perception of musical emotions, which was contrary to our expectation. Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem maladaptivního užívání hudby. Tento fenomén je diskutován v širším kontextu emoční regulace, depresivity, hudebních emocí a hudebních preferencí. Cílem teoretické části je poskytnout ucelený přehled současných poznatků o maladaptivním užívání hudby a vysvětlit konstrukty a nejdůležitější teorie, které se objevují v empirické části. Cílem empirické části je ověřit, jaké existují souvislosti mezi adaptivními a maladaptivními způsoby užívání hudby a mírou depresivity u populace českých studentů. Dle našich výsledků má maladaptivní užívání hudby signifikantní pozitivní vztah s mírou depresivity, zatímco adaptivní užívání nemá signifikantní vztah s mírou depresivity. Dále je zkoumáno, jak míra depresivity prostřednictvím maladaptivního užívání hudby ovlivňuje vjem hudebních emocí. V našem vzorku nepredikuje míra deprese ani maladaptivního užívání hudby vjem hudebních emocí, což bylo v rozporu s naším očekáváním. Explorativně je zkoumán vliv preferencí skupin hudebních žánru na maladaptivní užívání hudby. Z pohledu hudebních preferencí a jejich vlivu na maladaptivní užívání hudby jsme nenašli žádnou souvislost mezi specifickými skupinami žánrů a výskytem maladaptivního užívání hudby.
