Analytický pohled na bi-regionální intergraci mezi Evropskou uniíí a vybranými integračními uskupeními Latinské Ameriky

Abstract

The Bachelor's thesis on Analytical Perspective on Bi-Regional Integration between the European Union and Selected Integration Organizations in Latin America presents an up-to- date analysis of partial forms of bi-regional cooperation between the European Union and two selected integration groupings - i.e CELAC and MERCOSUR. The thesis describes the objects of activity and the institutional possibilities of each of the selected Latin American organisations, and then describes the course of negotiations between these organizations and the European Union to date. Although the thesis is partly devoted to a historical summary, the main contribution of the thesis lies in the possibility to elaborate the current developments on the EU-CELAC and EU-MERCOSUR axis in the year 2023. In the case of EU-CELAC relations, the results of the bi-regional summit held in Brussels in 2023 are examined, while on the EU-MERCOSUR axis, the stage of negotiations on a free trade area between the European Union and MERCOSUR countries is examined. Bakalářská práce na téma Analytický pohled na bi-regionální integraci mezi Evropskou unií a vybranými integračními uskupeními Latinské Ameriky představuje k datu zpracování aktuální analýzu partikulárních forem bi-regionální spolupráce mezi Evropskou unií a dvěma vybranými integračními uskupeními - tj. CELAC a MERCOSUR. V rámci bakalářské práce jsou popsány předměty činnosti, a institucionální možnosti jednotlivých vybraných organizací Latinské Ameriky, a následně je popsán dosavadní průběh jednání mezi těmito uskupeními a Evropskou unií. Přestože se práce dílčím způsobem věnuje historickému shrnutí, zásadní přínos práce spočívá v možnosti zpracovat aktuální dění na ose EU - CELAC a EU - MERCOSUR v roce 2023. V případě vztahů na ose EU - CELAC jsou zkoumány výsledky bi-regionálního summitu konaného v Bruselu v roce 2023, na ose EU-MERCOSUR je pak zkoumáno, v jaké fázi je vyjednávání o zóně volného obchodu mezi Evropskou unií a zeměmi MERCOSUR. Výše uvedená problematika je zasazena do teoretického rámce regionalismu a multilateralismu. Bakalářská práce využívá primárně metodu deskriptivní, kritické a kvalitativní analýzy. Výsledky práce spočívají v pochopení rolí jednotlivých vybraných latinskoamerických integračních uskupení v rámci vztahů s Evropskou unií.
