Úroveň depresivních projevů u idiopatické poruchy chování v REM spánku

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá úrovní depresivních projevů u pacientů s idiopatickou poruchou chování v REM spánku (iRBD). Teoretická část detailně představuje iRBD, vysvětluje souvislost této poruchy s neurodegenerativními onemocněními a dále popisuje neuropsychiatrické projevy, jež iRBD často doprovází. V neposlední řadě také prezentuje běžně užívané sebeposuzovací škály pro měření úrovně depresivních symptomů, s důrazem na Beckovu sebeposuzovací škálu depresivity pro dospělé, druhou revizi (BDI-II), která byla využita jako měřící nástroj v empirické části této práce. Cílem empirické části práce je stanovení a zhodnocení úrovně depresivních projevů vyjádřené celkovým skórem BDI-II u skupiny pacientů s iRBD (n = 70) a u kontrolní skupiny zdravých dobrovolníků (n = 70) z Neurologické kliniky 1. LF UK a VFN v Praze. Dále pak ověření úrovně depresivních projevů na obou subškálách BDI-II, kognitivně-afektivní a somatické subškále. Výsledky analýz ukázaly, že pacienti s iRBD vykazují signifikantně vyšší celkový skór BDI-II než zdravé osoby z kontrolní skupiny a dosahují i statisticky významně vyššího průměrného skóru na obou subškálách BDI-II. This bachelor thesis deals with the level of depressive symptoms in patients with idiopathic REM sleep behavior disorder (iRBD). The theoretical part thoroughly introduces iRBD, explains its association with neurodegenerative diseases, and describes the neuropsychiatric manifestations often accompanying iRBD. Moreover, it presents commonly used self-assessment scales for measuring the level of depressive symptoms, with an emphasis on the Beck Depression Inventory, second revision (BDI-II), which was used as the measuring instrument in the empirical part of this work. The aim of the empirical part of the study is to determine and evaluate the level of depressive symptoms expressed by the total score of BDI-II in a group of patients with iRBD (n = 70) and in a control group of healthy volunteers (n = 70) from the Department of Neurology, 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and General University Hospital in Prague. Furthermore, to verify the level of depressive symptoms on both subscales of BDI-II, cognitive-affective and somatic subscale. The results of the analyses showed that patients with iRBD exhibit significantly higher total BDI-II scores than healthy individuals in the control group and achieve a statistically significantly higher average score on both BDI-II subscales.
