Intertextualita v románu Ricarda Pigliy Umělé dýchání

Abstract

Bakalářská práce pojednává o literárním fenoménu intertextuality v díle Umělé dýchání argentinského spisovatele Ricarda Pigliy. V první části se zabývá vymezením a nastíněním pojmu a teorie intertextuality. Pojem je v práci uchopen skrze různé teorie intertextuality a dokazuje vlastní nemožnost přesné definice. Práce úžeji vychází především z teorie Gérarda Genetta, jehož koncept transtextovosti využíváme k interpretaci románu. Dále se věnuje představení intertextuálních tendencí v širším díle samotného autora. V druhé části se práce zaměřuje na identifikování vybraných intertextuálních prvků v románu Umělé dýchání. Jednat se bude především o Jorgeho Luise Borgese a Franze Kafku a jejich vliv na dílo Umělé dýchání. Cílem je upozornit na široké spektrum využití intertextuality. Je poukázáno na zkoumání historie, minulosti či současných událostí skrze intertextualitu, která v díle funguje jako nástroj umožňující interpretaci daných témat. Druhým úhlem zkoumání je využití intertextuality k vyslovení a manifestaci vlastního literárního kánonu, který autor pomocí intertextuality skládá.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the literary phenomenon of intertextuality in the work Artificial Respiration by Argentine writer Ricardo Piglia. The first part of the thesis discusses the definition and outline of the concept and theory of intertextuality. The concept is understood in the thesis through different theories of intertextuality and proves the inherent impossibility of a precise definition. The thesis relies primarily on the theory of Gérard Genette, whose concept of transtextuality is used to interpret the novel. Furthermore, the thesis introduces intertextual tendencies in the wider work of the author himself. In the second part, the thesis focuses on identifying selected intertextual motifs in the novel Artificial Respiration. The focus will be on Jorge Luis Borges and Franz Kafka and their influence on the Artificial Respiration. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to show the wide range of uses of intertextuality. In particular, the exploration of history, the past or contemporary events through intertextuality, which functions in the work as a tool that enables the interpretation of the given themes. The second angle of examination is the use of intertextuality to articulate and manifest the author's own literary canon through the use of intertextuality.
