Abstract

Licenciátní práce se zabývá hymnem v Listu Filipanům a jeho exegezí. Analyzuje daný list, charakterizuje hymnus v jeho rámci, zabývá se rovněž jeho literární formou, původem, autorstvím a (mimo)biblickým pozadím. Bez teologických předporozumění usiluje o co nejpřesnější a nejkorektnější exegezi zkoumaného hymnu. Na jejím základě pak hodnotí tři rozšířené teologické teorie, které podle jejich autorů vycházejí z daného hymnu: teorie kenóze, problém imitatio Christi a teorie binitárního monoteismu. Vzhledem k parenetickému kontextu dochází k závěru, že tento text nepojednává o ontologickém popisu Kristova bytí, ale zabývá se Ježíšovým postojem ponížení se a vydání sebe sama, který je inspirativní pro křesťanský život i misii Filipanů a důležitou roli může hrát i v dnešním pojetí pastorace.

Think this way in Christ Jesus. Exegesis Phil 2:5.6-11 The licentiate thesis focuses on the hymn in Epistle to the Philippians and its exegesis. The thesis analyses this epistle, characterises the hymn and also examines its literary form, origin, authorship, and both biblical and non-biblical background. Without theological pre- understanding of the text, the thesis aims to provide the most accurate and correct exegesis of the hymn. Its exegesis is subsequently used to assess three widespread theological theories (theory of Kenosis, The Imitation of Christ, and theory of Binitarian Monotheism) which according to their respective authors originate from the hymn. Based on the parenthetic context of the hymn, the thesis suggests that this text does not discuss the ontological description of Christ's existence, but rather focuses on Jesus' humbling and giving of oneself attitude that is inspirational for a Christian life and Philippians' mission, but might also play an important role in the contemporary approach to pastoral work.
