Abstract

Žena představuje v réunionské tradici prvek, jehož důležitost se zdá být na vícero úrovních umenšována tzv. oficiální historií. Ovšem tato dvojitě utlačovaná žena přispěla velkou měrou k vytvoření réunionské nebo také ostrovní identity. V naší práci rozebereme oblasti týkající se těchto dvou identit. Poté se prostřednictvím analýzy dvou vybraných románů z prostředí ostrova Réunion pokusíme postihnout obraz kreolské ženy a porovnat ho s východisky traktovanými v teoretické části.

In Reunion imagery a woman presents an element whose importance seems to be concealed and diminished accross multiple levels by official History. However, this woman, twice oppressed, contributed to the creation of Reunion or insular identity. In our work we will deal with domains that cover these two identities. On the basis of a complex analysis of two specific Reunion novels we will attempt to make a picture of a Creol woman as she is depicted in the two novels, as well as to compare it with the elements in a theoretic part of whis work.
