Pohybová terapie u pacientů s abdominální hernií

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem pohybové terapie na pacienty s abdominální hernií. Cílem teoretické části práce je shrnout poznatky o diagnóze abdominální hernie, možnostech rehabilitace a pohybové terapie. Praktická část hodnotí efektivitu pohybové terapie prováděné na Oddělení tělovýchovného lékařství Fakultní nemocnice Motol u pacientů s touto diagnózou. Sběr dat proběhl retrospektivně za období 5 let, 2019 - 2023. Zjišťovali jsme antropometrické parametry (tělesnou hmotnost, BMI, obvod pasu, umbilikální obvod a obvod boků), výkon na bicyklovém ergometru a délku terapeutické jednotky. Získaná data jsme následně porovnali s daty po absolvování 3 měsíců pohybové terapie. Bylo prokázáno signifikantní snížení všech antropometrických parametrů, navýšení výkonu a prodloužení trvání terapeutické jednotky. Dále jsme zjišťovali vliv pohybové terapie na délku hospitalizace a výskyt pooperačních komplikací. Také nás zajímalo kouření jako rizikový faktor pro vznik pooperačních komplikací. Průměrná délka hospitalizace našich pacientů odpovídala době udávané Ústavem zdravotnických informací a statistiky České republiky, tedy vliv pohybové terapie na zkrácení doby hospitalizace nebyl potvrzen. 6 pacientů z 63, kteří podstoupili chirurgický zákrok, mělo pooperační komplikace. The thesis deals with the effect of physical therapy on patients with abdominal hernias. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to summarize the knowledge about the diagnosis of abdominal hernia, the possibilities of rehabilitation and physical therapy. The practical part evaluates the effectiveness of physical therapy performed at the Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of Motol University Hospital in patients with this diagnosis. Data collection was performed retrospectively over a period of 5 years, 2019 - 2023. Anthropometric parameters (body weight, BMI, waist circumference, umbilical circumference and hip circumference), performance on the ergometer and length of the therapeutic unit were collected. We then compared the data obtained with those obtained after 3 months of physical therapy. There was a significant reduction in all anthropometric parameters, an increase in exercise capacity and an increase in the duration of the therapeutic unit. We also investigated the effect of physical therapy on the length of hospital stay and the incidence of postoperative complications. We were also interested in smoking as a risk factor for postoperative complications.
