Jehuda Halevi a jeho cesta do Země zaslíbené , s přihlédnutím k jeho religiózní poezii

Abstract

Závěr Juda Halevi napsal svým celým srdcem desítky, ba stovky básní a popsal celý filozofický systém s cílem přesvědčit am jisrael, žijící v diaspoře (tedy v galutu), že jejich místo je v Erec Jisra'el. Přesvědčit je o tom, že jedině tam jsou Židé skutečně blízko svému B-hu, jedině tam mohou naplnit své poslání vyvoleného národa a svoji část Smlouvy, kterou uzavřeli jako národ na Sinaji. Konec konců Izrael je částí oné Země zaslíben, o jejímž darování Hospodinem izraelitům čteme opakovaně v samotné Tóře. Halevi na základě vlastní zkušenosti viděl stále znovu a znovu se opakující období časů tragických pro Židy, časů, které se nevyhnou snad žádné generaci. Nemodlí se snad Židé směrem k Jeruzalému, nemodlí se snad za obnovení slávy Izraele a Jeruzaléma? Zároveň ale respektoval, že rozhodnutí je na každém individuálně. Ale cítil jako naprostou nutnost uskutečnit to, o čem byl sám tak pevně přesvědčený a vydal se na cestu, aby vykonal aliju, neboť jeho cesta do Země zaslíbená nebyla pouhou poutí (z poutě se poutníci navracejí zpět do svých domovů), ale skutečnou alijou. Halevi chtěl zemřít v zemi praotců, ve svaté zemi Erec Jisra'el, tam kde byl podle svého přesvědčení svému Hospodinu nejblíže. Moje práce se zabývá životem a dílem Judy Haleviho. in English Judah Halevi wrote from his heart tens and hundreds of poems and also described the whole philosophical system in order to persuade am jisrael living in the diaspora (galut) that their only proper place to live is the Eretz Jisra'el. To convince them that only there the Jews are near to their G-d and only there they can fulfill their mission of the chosen people and their part of the Covenant which they sealed on the Mount of Sinai. After all Israel is the part of the Promised Land given by G-d to Izraelites and we read about it in the Torah repeatedly. Halevi himself saw tragic times in the history of the Jewry reapearing again and again, times that do not skip any generation. Do not Jews pray toward Jerusalem, do not they pray for renewal of glory of Israel and Jerusalem? At the same time Halevi respected it was on every individual to decide for himslef. But he himself felt urgent need to set for the journey. Finally he left his home and family and board the ship to the Eretz Jisrael (via Egypt). It was not a pilgrimage he was leaving for ever. It was alija (emigration). He wanted to die in the land of forfathers, in the Holy Land where he was according to his conviction near to his Adonai.
