Abstract

Sociodemografická struktura obyvatel podle typu zástavby, komparace měst Prahy a Bratislavy Abstrakt Cílem předkládané práce je objevit a analyzovat sociodemografickou skladbu obyvatel Prahy a Bratislavy a jejich zázemí. V první části práce jsou představeny základní údaje o historickém, administrativním a demografickém vývoji zkoumaných metropolí. Zároveň jsou zde představeny četné výzkumy a koncepty vnitřní struktury měst. Prostřednictvím metod analýzy hlavních komponent a shlukové analýzy jsou vytvořeny sociálně a demograficky odlišné části Prahy a Bratislavy. Tyto regiony jsou rozdílné i vzhledem k jejich populačnímu vývoji, který je popsán mezi lety 1996 a 2010. Analýza prokázala, že obě území tvoří téměř shodné oblasti, v nichž lze pozorovat velmi podobné trendy ve vývoji počtu obyvatel a v procesech porodnosti, úmrtnosti a migrace. V práci jsou zároveň identifikovány odlišnosti mezi osobami žijícími v různém typu zástavby, a to podle jejich pohlaví, věku, vzdělání a rodinného a zdravotního stavu. Tato práce tak ukazuje možnosti propojení poznatků z různých vědních disciplín, zejména z demografie, sociální geografie a sociologie. Social and demographic characteristics of the urban population of Prague and Bratislava in terms of type of building Abstract The objective of this thesis is to discover and to analyze socio-demographic structure of the population of Prague and Bratislava. The first part of the study presents the basic information about the historical, administrative and demographic development of the selected regions. There are also introduced numerous researches and the concepts of the internal structure of cities. There are created socially and demographically different parts of the cities through the methods of principal component analysis and cluster analysis. These regions are also different due to their population development, which is described between 1996 and 2010. The analysis showed that there are almost the same areas in both cities where we can observe very similar trends of the processes of fertility, mortality and migration. There are also identified the differences between persons living in a diverse type of building according to their gender, age, education, marital status and health. This thesis shows the opportunity to use data from different disciplines, especially demography, social geography and sociology.
