Transforming of emigrant's image in the magazine Dikobraz between 1947-1971 English Abstract In my historical research, I would like to reveal what conditions forced Czechoslovak citizens to emigrate and how their life behind the Iron Curtain was. I will then discuss their image in a satirical weekly magazine Dikobraz. Finally, I would like to discover what opinion on emigrants/exiles and on the life in western countries could a regular reader get. Keywords emigration, exile, porcupine, propaganda, history
