Porovnání elektrostimulačních systémů WalkAide a NESS L300 při terapii foot drop u pacientů po cévní mozkové příhodě.

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce je tvořena částí teoretickou a částí praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje úvod do problematiky postižení pacientů po cévní mozkové příhodě (CMP) a soustředí se především na poruchy chůze, konkrétně na syndrom foot drop, který se objevuje až u 20% pacientů po CMP. Dále jsou v teoretické části shrnuty poznatky o funkční elektrostimulaci a její aplikaci na nervus peroneus, které se využívá při terapii foot drop. Tato část práce je uzavřena přehledným popisem dvou peroneálních stimulátorů, které jsou v současnosti dostupné v České Republice, a to systémů WalkAide® a NESS L300®. Praktická část je tvořena popisem terapie dvou pacientů po CMP, během které byly oba zmíněné přístroje využity, a dotazníkem pro zástupce distribučních společností zaměřeným na finanční stránku obou systémů. Výstupem praktické části je ucelený pohled na využití obou systémů v průběhu terapie a jejich dostupnost pro pacienty v České Republice. Veškeré shromážděné poznatky o systémech WalkAide® a NESS L300® jsou v poté systematicky porovnány a zhodnoceny z pohledu fyzioterapeuta i pacienta. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

This bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part provides a brief introduction into problematics of disability of stroke patients and mainly focuses on gait impairment, specifically on foot drop syndrome that affects about 20% of all stroke patients. Following section contains characterization of functional electrical stimulation and its application to the peroneal nerve, which is used in therapy of foot drop. The theoretical part is then concluded by neat description of two peroneal stimulators that are currently available in Czech Republic, systems WalkAide® and NESS L300®. The practical part includes therapy records of two stroke patients, in which both mentioned devices were used, and filled questionnaires that were directed to representatives of distributor companies. These documets focus on financial problematics of systems in question. The outcome of the practical part is a comprehensive overview that summarizes the use of both stimulators in therapy of foot drop and their accessibility for patients in Czech Republic. All gathered facts about WalkAide® and NESS L300® are then systematically compared and evaluated from the perspective of a therapist and a patient. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
