This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between the Jewish and non-Jewish inhabitants of the Podorlicko region between the years 1930 and 1945. It focuses on the changes of this relationship in the light of the events of the given period. The thesis is based on the specialised literature and the internet sources. The memories of the witnesses derived mainly from the publications focusing on the history of the jewish settlement in the particular areas and towns of Podorlicko and partially from the author's family archive are an important part of the thesis.
