Komentovaný překlad: Mario Vargas Llosa: Diario de Irak

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce sestává ze dvou částí - z překladu vybraných reportáží peruánského spisovatele Maria Vargase Llosy ze španělštiny do češtiny a z komentáře překladu. Reportáže pocházejí z knihy Diario de Irak, konkrétně se jedná o kapitolu první La libertad salvaje a kapitolu pátou Frejoles blancos. Komentář obsahuje informace o hypotetické překladatelské zakázce, překladatelskou analýzu originálu, popis metod použitých při překladu, analýzu problémů, které se při překladu objevily, a zdůvodnění užitých řešení.

This bachelor's thesis consists of two parts - a translation from Spanish to Czech of selected news reports written by the Peruvian author Mario Vargas Llosa and a translation annotation. The texts were published in the book Diario de Irak, specifically as the first chapter La libertad salvaje and the fifth chapter Frejoles blancos. The translation annotation contains information about the hypothetical translation assignment, translation analysis of the original text, description of methods used during the translation process, analysis of translation problems and reasoning behind the solutions.
