Péče o pacienta s iatrogenní perforací jícnu

Abstract

The theme of the final thesis is the nursing process in a patient with iatrogenic perforation of the esophagus in the Department of Geriatric Medicine. I consider the chosen topic to be very interesting, but not too often presented from the viewpoint of a nurse and nursing. Based on a single patient case study, the objective was to analyze the care provided for a patient with iatrogenic perforation of the esophagus in the Department of Geriatric Medicine. Nursing care was focused on the care of a geriatric patient with an esophagostomy, mediastinal drain and cognitive deficits. Another goal was to demonstrate that even in the geriatric department, very good results can be achieved by providing a good patient care. The last objective was to compare the procedures provided by nursing care in the Czech Republic and abroad. In my final thesis, I used a case study method, implemented by a nursing case in a patient in the geriatric department and aftercare of a regional type medical facility. Information for the final thesis was drawn from Czech and foreign literature, own observation and provision of nursing care, interview with the patient and from its available documentation. Téma závěrečné práce je ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s iatrogenní perforací jícnu na oddělení geriatrie a následné péče. Zvolené téma považuji za velmi zajímavé, ale z pohledu zdravotní sestry a z hlediska ošetřovatelství ne příliš často prezentované. Na základě konkrétní případové studie jedné pacientky bylo cílem analyzovat poskytnutou péči o pacientku s iatrogenní perforací jícnu na oddělení geriatrie a následné péče. Ošetřovatelská péče byla zaměřena na péči o geriatrického pacienta s výživovou stomií, mediastinálním drénem a kognitivním deficitem. Dalším cílem bylo demonstrovat, že i na geriatrickém oddělení lze dosáhnout velmi dobrých výsledků kvalitně poskytovanou péčí o pacienta. Posledním cílem bylo srovnání postupů poskytnuté ošetřovatelské péče u nás a v zahraničí. Ve své závěrečné práci jsem použila metodu případové studie, realizovanou ošetřovatelskou kazuistikou u pacientky na oddělení geriatrie a následné péče zdravotnického zařízení krajského typu. Informace ke zpracování závěrečné práce byly čerpány z české i zahraniční literatury, vlastním pozorováním a poskytováním ošetřovatelské péče, rozhovorem s pacientkou a z její dostupné dokumentace.
