Závěry 1) Během vlastního chemotaxonomického studia rodu Lepraria bylo popsáno několik druhů nových pro vědu - Lepraria celata, L. granulata, L. humida a L. toensbergiana (Bayerová et al. 2005, Slavíková-Bayerová & Fehrer 2007, Slavíková-Bayerová & Orange 2006). Kromě toho byly popsány další taxony provizorně pojmenované Lepraria sp. BG, L. sp. G a L. sp. H, jejichž taxonomické postavení není zatím jasné. Dále byl nalezen taxon Lepraria sp., který je chemicky podobný druhu L. atlantica, morfologicky se však odlišuje (Slavíková-Bayerová 2006). Jedná se buď o dosud nepopsaný taxon nebo extrémní formu druhu L. atlantica. Pro objasnění identity těchto taxonů bude zapotřebí prostudovat větší množství materiálu. 2) U druhů L. atlantica, L. celata, L. jackii, L. granulata, L. humida, L. sylvicola a L. toensbergiana byla zjištěna přítomnost hyf nacházejících se často ve štěrbinách substrátu s tendencí proniknout do substrátu (Slavíková-Bayerová & Fehrer 2007, Slavíková-Bayerová & Orange 2006). Dosud byly považovány buď za dřeň (L. jackii) nebo hypothallus (L. toensbergiana). Vzhledem k tomu, že se nejedná o souvislou vrstvu hyf a hyfy nejspíš slouží k přichycení k podkladu, byl navržen termín rhizohyfy.
