Vývoj systému příprav mladých dospělých vyrůstajících v ústavní péči na samostatný život

Abstract

In its theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with the issue of teenage children who growing up in institutional care, and their readiness for an independent life. It discusses difficulties, with which a young person who grew up outside the family environment has to face. It focuses on the concept of supporting and preparing adolescents in institutional care to enter independent life. Based of theoretical and practical knowledge of the author of the work, the diploma thesis describes the development of the assistance system and of support to these young people from the nineties of the 20th century until now and suggests further direction of help system. The empirical part presents the results of the research that is carried out by the method of content analysis of professional texts related to the defined issue. The research is focused on finding out whether and in what directions the development of youth training has moved adults for independent living over the past 25 years and how the current concept of preparations helps young people to acquire the competences needed for an independent life. Diplomová práce se ve své teoretické části zabývá problematikou dospívajících dětí, které vyrůstají v ústavní péči, a jejich připraveností na samostatný život. Pojednává o úskalích, s jakými se potýká mladý člověk, který vyrůstal mimo rodinné prostředí. Zaměřuje se na koncept podpory a příprav adolescentů v ústavní péči na vstup do nezávislého života. Na základě teoretických i praktických poznatků autora práce zachycuje diplomová práce vývoj systému pomoci a podpory těmto mladým lidem od devadesátých let 20. století dosud a naznačuje další směřování systému pomoci. Empirická část prezentuje výsledky výzkumu, který je proveden metodou obsahové analýzy odborných textů souvisejících s vymezenou problematikou. Výzkum je zaměřen na zjištění, zda a v jakých směrech se posunul vývoj příprav mladých dospělých na samostatný život za uplynulých 25 let a jak současná koncepce příprav napomáhá mladým lidem k získávání kompetencí potřebných pro samostatný život.
