Koncept občanské gramotnosti v mezinárodní perspektivě. Česká republika, Austrálie, Anglie

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá konceptem občanské gramotnosti. V první řadě práce reflektuje teoretické pojetí občanské gramotnosti, a to nejen v kontextu českého vzdělávání, ale i zahraničního, přičemž se práce soustřeďuje výhradně na práci s anglofonními zdroji. Pro tyto účely je provedena literární rešerše s oporou relevantní odborné literatury. Druhá část práce se soustřeďuje na práci s českým, anglickým a australským kurikulem. Nejprve jsou kurikula představena obecně, včetně jejich pojetí občanského vzdělávání, a následně jsou v těchto kurikulech pomocí metody obsahové analýzy reflektovány vybrané aspekty občanského vzdělávání. Dílčím cílem této diplomové práce je také adekvátní vymezení klíčových pojmů souvisejících s tématem, např. občan a občanství anebo gramotnost a kompetence. Výsledkem této práce je jednak teoretická reflexe občanské gramotnosti v České republice a zahraničí, a jednak komparace pojetí občanského vzdělávání ve vybraných kurikulech, se zaměřením na tyto aspekty: míra zastoupení společenskovědních oborů, koncept aktivního občanství a práce s termínem kompetence. This diploma thesis is concerned with the concept of civic literacy. Firstly, the thesis reflects the concept of civic literacy theoretically in both the Czech educational context and the chosen anglophone ones. For these purposes, literary research is done with the support of relevant academic literature. The second part of the thesis focuses on the Czech, English and Australian educational curricula. These curricula are presented as to their general characteristics, including their frameworks of civic education, and then selected aspects of the curricula are compared by means of content analysis. An integral aim of this diploma thesis is to provide an adequate definition of crucial terms related to the topic, those being the terms citizen, citizenship or literacy and competency. The expected results of this thesis are the theoretical reflection of the concept of civic literacy in Czech as well as in chosen anglophone publications, and the comparison of civic education in chosen educational curiccula, with the focus on three selected criteria: the degree of representation of social sciences, the concept of active citizenship and the way the curiccula work with the term competency.
