Hodnocení tematických map účastníků Letní školy Zeměpisné olympiády v letech 2022 a 2023

Abstract

Práce se zabývá analýzou kartografických úloh Letní školy Zeměpisné olympiády 2022 a 2023. První část se zabývá teorií potřebnou ke zvládnutí daných kartografických úloh - co vše musí mapa obsahovat, jaké znaky se na mapách používají a v neposlední řadě jaké jsou metody tematické kartografie. V praktické části práce jsou na základě vybraných kritérií hodnoceny mapy, které vytvořili účastníci těchto dvou ročníků Letní školy. Nejprve budou slovně i bodově hodnoceny jednotlivé mapy a poté jak si vedli účastníci dohromady. Cílem této části práce bude tedy shrnout, jaké věci účastníkům dělaly problémy a na co by se v příštích ročnících měli organizátoři Letní školy Zeměpisné olympiády z hlediska kartografické přípravy soutěžících zaměřit.

The aim of this work is to analyse the cartographic tasks of the Summer School of the Geography Olympiad 2022 and 2023. The first part deals with the theory required to master the given cartographic tasks - what the map must contain, what symbols are used on the maps and, last but not least, what are the methods of thematic cartography. In the practical part of the work, the maps created by the participants of these two years of the Summer School are evaluated on the basis of selected criteria. First, the individual maps will be evaluated verbally and with points, and then how they performed together. The aim of this part of the work will therefore be to summarize what things caused problems for the participants and what the organizers of the Summer School of the Geography Olympiad should focus on in terms of the cartographic preparation of the competitors.
