Die Darstellung der ‚glokalen' Katastrophe in Katharina Hackers 9/11-Roman Die Habenichtse

Abstract

(v českém jazyce) Dílo Kathariny Hacker Die Habenichtse (Necitové), vydané v roce 2006, je součástí korpusu literatury, která se zabývá 11. zářím 2001. Pojem katastrofa je s touto událostí nevyhnutelně spojen, přičemž historie pojmu katastrofa vykazuje velké množství variant užití. Cílem této práce je prozkoumat, do jaké míry zobrazení katastrofy v textu odpovídá nejen variantě užití ve smyslu skutečné, krajně negativní události, jíž lze v globalizovaném světě přisoudit "glokální" význam, ale také variantě užití ve smyslu neutrálního pojmu z teorie dramatu, který signalizuje rozhodující zlom či cézuru v ději. První varianta užití je analyzována s ohledem na dimenze současných katastrof - kognitivní, mediální, sociální, kulturní, estetickou, literární - jak na úrovni postav, tak na úrovni struktury a stylu vyprávění. (v anglickém jazyce) Katharina Hacker's work Die Habenichtse (The Have-Nots), published in 2006, belongs to the body of literature dealing with 11. September 2001. The concept of catastrophe is inevitably associated with this event, whereby the history of the term catastrophe shows a great variety of uses. The aim of this study is to examine the extent to which the representation of catastrophe in the text corresponds not only to the usage variant in the sense of a real, extremely negative event, which can be ascribed a 'glocal' meaning in the globalised world, but also to the usage variant in the sense of a neutral term from drama theory, which signals a decisive turning point or caesura in the plot. The first usage variant is analysed with regard to the dimensions of contemporary catastrophes - cognitive, medial, social, cultural, aesthetic, literary - both at the level of the characters and at the level of the narrative structure and style.
