Sociální sítě a osoby se zrakovým postižením

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku sociálních sítí a osob se zrakovým postižením. V práci se snažíme zjistit, jaký je postoj nevidomých jedinců k sociálním sítím, jaké mají motivace k jejich používání, jaké překážky pro ně na sociálních sítích vznikají a jak je překonávají. V neposlední řadě nás však zajímá i vliv sociálních sítí na sociální interakci nevidomých osob. Teoretická východiska práce nastíní problematiku zrakového postižení, nevidomosti, digitální inkluze, asistivních technologií využitelných v digitálním prostředí a sociálních sítí. Ve výzkumném šetření bylo využito kvalitativního přístupu, designu vícenásobné případové studie. Data byla získávána pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů, které probíhaly s 8 nevidomými uživateli sociálních sítí a odborníkem v oblasti digitálních pomůcek a webové přístupnosti. Analýza získaných dat proběhla metodou otevřeného kódování a byla následně interpretována technikou vyložení karet. Výsledky práce popisují, že nevidomí jedinci používají sociální sítě na denní bázi, a to především kvůli sociálnímu kontaktu s ostatními uživateli, rychlému získávání informací a pro zábavu a odpočinek. This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of social networking sites and people with visual impairment. In this thesis, we try to find out what the attitude of blind people towards social networking sites is, what is their motivation for using them, what barriers they face on social networking sites, and how they overcome them. Last but not least, we are also interested in the impact of social networking sites on the social interaction of blind people. The theoretical background of the thesis outlines the issues of visual impairment, blindness, digital inclusion, assistive technologies usable in digital environments, and social networking sites themself. A qualitative approach, a multiple case study design was used in the research investigation. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews conducted with 8 blind social networking site users and a specialist in the field of digital assistive technology and web accessibility. The analysis of the collected data was done using the open coding method and was then interpreted using the card interpretation technique.
