Abstract

Cílem této práce, nazvané Já vetkané do ornamentu. Strategie a prostředky formulování Já v dílech frankofonních autorů z oblasti Maghribu se zkušeností jazykového exilu, je analyzovat prostředky, pomocí kterých se konstruuje Já v psaní o sobě autorů a autorek tvořících tzv. na švu kultur. Pocházejí z muslimských zemí, jež prošly dlouhým obdobím kolonizace ze strany Francie a v jejich dílech se tak prolíná několik kulturních vlivnů - arabsko-islámský, berberský a francouzský. Všichni autoři a autorky, jimž se práce věnuje, se vyjadřují ve francouzštině, tedy v jim ne-přirozeném jazyce. Střet kultur kolonizátora a kolonizovaného vytváří specifickou situaci kulturní diferenciace a formuje kromě jiného také podobu literárního Já a žánru autobiografie. První část nazvaná Matrice, rámce a osnovy tkaniny vymezuje teoreticko-metodologický půdorys. Vzhledem ke komplexnosti tématu byl zvolen interdisciplinární přístup. Vychází zejména z postkoloniálních teorií a teorií o střetávání kultur, které se výrazně propisuje také do jazyka tvorby (métissage, créolisation). Protože literaturu vznikající v oblasti severoafrického Maghribu zásadně ovlivňuje arabsko-islámská tradice, opíráme se rovněž o estetické teorie obvykle používané k popisu a interpretaci arabsko-islámského umění. The aim of this work, entitled Self Woven into Ornament. Strategies and Means of Formulating the Self in the Writings of Francophone Maghreb Authors with Experience of Linguistic Exile, is to analyze the means by which the self is constructed in the writing about the self of male and female authors who create at the so-called seam of cultures. Coming from Muslim countries that have undergone a long period of colonization by France, their works blend several cultural influences - Arab-Islamic, Berber and French. All of the authors covered in this work express themselves in French, a language that is not natural to them. The clash of the cultures of the colonizer and the colonized creates a specific situation of cultural differentiation and shapes, among other things, the form of the literary self and the genre of autobiography. The first part, entitled Matrices, Frames and Outlines of Fabric, defines the theoretical and methodological groundwork. Due to the complexity of the topic, an interdisciplinary approach has been chosen.
