Každodenní život a volnočasové aktivity středoškoláků v Rychnově nad Kněžnou

Abstract

Diplomová práce zkoumá vztah mezi prostorovou mobilitou studentů středních škol a způsobem trávení jejich volného času. Jako sledované území je zvoleno město Rychnov nad Kněžnou a jeho spádový region, ze kterého středoškoláci do škol dojíždí. Téma práce svým zaměřením propojuje oblasti zájmu geografie, sociologie, psychologie, a je proto v teoretické části diskutováno z perspektivy těchto vědních oborů. Jedná se o geografii času, resp. časoprostorovou mobilitu a význam pojmu volný čas v životě mládeže zkoumaný zejména sociology a psychology. Empirickou část tvoří výzkum v podobě dotazníkového šetření, kombinovaný s deníkovými záznamy studentů třetího ročníku všech tří středních škol v Rychnově nad Kněžnou. Účelem šetření je zachytit aktivity respondentů během jednoho všedního dne v prostoru a čase. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována způsobu trávení volného času. Tyto aktivity, jsou dále konfrontovány se skutečnou nabídkou volnočasových služeb v regionu. Předmětem dotazníkového šetření jsou rovněž ty služby volného času, které mládež v Rychnově nad Kněžnou postrádá.

This Master's thesis focuses on the spatial mobility of secondary school students and the way they spend their leisure time. Rychnov nad Kněžnou town and its surrounding is chosen for the empirical study. The topic of the thesis connects several disciplines especially geography, sociology and psychology in the theoretical part. Special attention is given to the Time Geography and the explanation of the concept of leisure time in the teen-agers's life. The research on the students from different types of secondary schools in Rychnov nad Kněžnou is the main part of the thesis where the method of questionnaire and diary is used. The objective of the survey is to explore daily activities of teen-agers in the time and space. Questions are focused especially on the way the respondents spend their leisure time. Stated activities are compared with the supply of leisure services in the region. The attention in the survey is also paid to the missing leisure services.
